BatFast is a British company that manufactures and operates cricket simulators globally, but let’s rewind and see how it all began… Strap in and witness how the game has changed.

Humble Beginnings

BatFast has come a long way since it’s humble beginnings. From long nights back in 2015 building prototypes at a garage in Loughborough to now having delivered more than 1,300,000 balls through 20 simulators across 5 continents and 11 cities. BatFast aim to be a vehicle for change in the sporting sphere, using technology to positively impact the uptake of participation in the most beautiful sport of all, cricket.

The Desire To Inspire

Thrill-a-minute cricket simulation started when two childhood friends, Runish Gudhka and Jignesh Patel, set out to revolutionize the sport. In 2012, they had a phone call to vent about the obstacles they faced trying to play cricket as they grew older.  They both agreed – there must be a way around this. Their goal was to make cricket available to everyone, no matter what age, gender, ability or ethnicity. No easy feat they’d admit, but an objective which fueled the desire to make a change. BatFast has always believed that through using innovative and gamified technology you can motivate and change the norm.

The BatFast Promise

Back in 2015, BatFast made a promise to make their core products accessible to everyone, whoever you are and whatever your background or ability. So, what does accessibility mean to BatFast? It’s simple. Whether it be the first time you are picking up a cricket bat, maybe someone who hasn’t played cricket in 10 years or a seasoned professional stepping into the crease, it doesn’t matter… get ready to whack – because you’re in next!

Fast forward to 2019, we have inspired over 48,000 users to pick up a bat and play the sport we love. With vast technological improvements such as; 6 interactive game modes, leader-boards, round-robin competitions, speeds from 30-100mph, ball tracking cameras, real-life international bowlers to face and the chance to replicate moments of cricket history during gameplay. BatFast has not and will not stop moving forward to be the best we can be.

BatFast aim to be the household name for sports technology, engineered to provide an interactive and immersive platform for anyone to experience the thrill of the hit.

We have come a long way in 4 years, who knows what the future holds? One thing is for sure, BatFast will remain focused on increasing participation. We are continually striving to provide technology which can improve both physical and mental health for everyone through cricket!
