Fan Experience at the TATA IPL Fan Parks 2025 – BCCI x Altius

As the TATA Indian Premier League lit up screens across the world in 2025, BatFast’s immersive cricket simulator made its way across India. As part of BCCI’s Fan Park initiative, BatFast teamed up with Altius Strategic Consulting to participate in the TATA IPL Fan Parks 2025, a move designed to bring the TATA IPL experience directly to fans in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and drive an increase in fan engagement.
This case study outlines the journey of BatFast’s Tour product across 10 cities, its on-ground execution, and the tremendous impact it had on local communities and cricket lovers alike
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
Launched on 22nd March in Rohtak, the BatFast simulator was part of the BCCI’s free-entry fan engagement initiative with live IPL match screenings. The TATA IPL Fan Parks were designed to give communities, especially in underserved cities, a chance to celebrate the IPL fever up close.
For 10 weeks across 10 IPL Fan Parks, BatFast brought a unique cricket experience that let fans face three of the most iconic deliveries from IPL’s recent history, putting them directly in the shoes of their favourite players.
EXECUTION
The cities covered in the BatFast IPL Fan Park Tour included:
Rohtak → Gwalior → Mathura → Meerut → Bathinda → Amritsar → Kullu → Una (Cancelled) → Agra → Ghazipur
At each park, BatFast’s simulator offered participants the chance to face unforgettable deliveries:
- Jasprit Bumrah to Rilee Rossouw – A fierce inswinging yorker that was nearly impossible to play.
- Hardik Pandya to MS Dhoni – A wide, good-length delivery that Dhoni launched for a six during the 2024 season.
- Rashid Khan to Shardul Thakur – The hat-trick ball that spun sharply into the batter during Rashid’s iconic performance vs KKR.
The simulator experience was housed within a TATA IPL-branded enclosure, easy to set up and dismantle within the fan park zones. Branding opportunities were maximised with digital visuals and IPL-themed cues that elevated the atmosphere.
THE RESULT
Across ten cities, the activation drew over 4,700 fans, a clear testament to the excitement and demand.

Notable highlights:
Fans rated their experience 9.85/10, an overwhelming hit at every single venue. BatFast and Altius achieved an NPS score of 100% from fans.
Fifty per cent of all participants were under the age of 16, demonstrating BatFast’s appeal to young cricket fans.
BatFast introduced a dedicated queue for female participants to encourage their participation.
Over 1000 boundaries were hit by the fans while taking on world-class deliveries from the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Rashid Khan – showcasing their ability to take on quality bowling.
About 15,000 balls were delivered throughout 9 weekends at the TATA IPL Fan Parks – that’s nearly as many balls as were played during the whole of the TATA IPL 2025.
CONCLUSION
BatFast’s cricket simulator tour for IPL 2025 has brought stadium-like thrills to fans far from the metro cities, allowing them to relive unforgettable IPL moments and engage in the game they love.
From Rohtak to Agra, our portable simulator demonstrated the power of immersive tech in sports, adaptable, scalable, and incredibly impactful. As we look ahead, BatFast remains committed to expanding its footprint across India, creating joyful cricket memories for fans of all ages and abilities.
