IPL 2025: Why BatFast Matters in a Cricket-Mad Nation Like India

As IPL 2025 ignites passion across stadiums and screens, BatFast is taking that excitement further, straight to the heart of India’s towns and cities. With our cutting-edge cricket simulator travelling to TATA IPL Fan Parks from Rohtak to Meerut to Kullu, in partnership with Altius Strategic Consulting and the BCCI. The TATA IPL Fan Parks are a free-for-all initiative by the BCCI to drive an increase in cricket engagement across the country. At the fan parks, BatFast is not just showcasing technology, we’re empowering sports participation across all age groups and backgrounds.
A Win for Women’s Cricket
One of the most inspiring moments at IPL 2025 Fan Parks has been female participation in cricket. Whether it’s a 3-year-old picking up a bat for the first time or a 70-year-old returning to the game she grew up watching, our cricket simulator has offered an inclusive space for women to play, compete, and enjoy. We’ve even introduced a dedicated female queue to ensure women get faster access, because in cricket, everyone deserves their moment at the crease. Over the last 6 weeks, the number of women taking part has been on a steady rise.
A Shared Celebration of Cricket
IPL Fan Parks are more than viewing zones, they’re community hubs. From Gwalior to Amritsar, we have seen families cheer, strangers bond over banter, and young fans light up after hitting a six on the BatFast cricket simulator. BatFast is proud to be part of this spirit, allowing fans to face legendary deliveries like Bumrah’s iconic yorker to Rilee Rossouw, or Rashid Khan’s hat-trick ball to Shardul Thakur. In a free-to-play environment, the simulator becomes a bridge between the fan and the game.

India’s Youth, Playing Smarter
In a country where gully cricket is second nature, BatFast is bringing a fresh challenge, and the youth are loving it. Nearly 50% of our participants so far are under 16, and for many, facing an augmented version of Hardik Pandya to MS Dhoni ball is as real as it gets. For young fans, this isn’t just a game, it’s a structured, tech-enabled way to experience the thrill of competitive cricket. It’s no longer just about playing; it’s about playing with purpose and engaging with cricket in a way that takes them close to their idols.
Reigniting Cricket in the Lives of Adults
Life gets busy. Careers, families, responsibilities, all of it often sidelines their first love: cricket. A recent study by Financial Express states that youth sport participation in India is as high as 70% while it drops as low as 26% for those aged over 36. But BatFast is changing that. At every IPL stop, we’ve seen middle-aged fans who haven’t picked up a bat in years light up as they take guard. Whether they’re trying to outscore their kids or just reliving a memory, the simulator helps them reconnect with the sport they grew up with, if only for a few overs. A setup like BatFast will only go further to reconnect them to the game they once loved.
Taking IPL 2025 to Every Corner
So far, BatFast has powered cricket experiences in Rohtak, Gwalior, Mathura, Meerut, Bhatinda, Amritsar, and now Kullu – locations where IPL matches don’t usually go, but the love for cricket runs deep. This is thanks to an incredible initiative by the BCCI, which is strongly supported by our partners Altius Strategic Consulting and Madison Turnt. Despite tough logistics, the reception has been incredible. BatFast at IPL 2025 is more than a fan activation, it’s a movement. One that promotes inclusive sports participation, reconnects fans with cricket, and gives every individual, regardless of age, gender, or skill level, a chance to play their part in India’s biggest cricketing celebration.
