BatFast and Nottinghamshire CCC launch Girls T20 Tournament

The summer of 2022 has been nothing short of exhilarating for women’s cricket with a fantastic tour between South Africa and England, a thrilling finish to the Commonwealth Games, and the current excitement of the Women’s ‘The Hundred’.

Building upon this, BatFast and Nottinghamshire Cricket Club have launched a new and innovative Girls T20 tournament. The tournament format is designed to provide an inclusive, safe and exciting space for girls to come try cricket for the first time, showcase their skills and take their first step towards embracing the sport of cricket.

How does it work?

BatFast has created new bowling simulations using real footage of Elite Women’s Bowlers to create an experience where you can face real-life professional women bowlers.

  • Each team will consist of four players and each player will face 5 overs with the aim to score as many runs as possible across 20 overs.
  • The tournament is free to enter and prizes will be given to all contestants, including special prizes for the winners and runners-up across all categories.
  • The tournament will be fit into 3 age groups i.e., Under 11, Under 13, and Under 15.
