On Saturday, 21st July 2018, BatFast travelled to Lancashire for an exciting event with the Manchester United Class of 92. This event was in association with Lancashire County Cricket Club and the Lancashire Cricket Foundation a proved to be an exciting one.
Class of 92 University Open Day
The Class of 92 and partners are helping to regenerate the Stretford / Trafford part of Manchester. They hope of providing a platform for residents and the wider community to have an education which is not dependant on academic capability and instead focuses on work ethic and attitude.
The area is close to the hearts of the great class of 92 of Manchester United. Therefore, they see this as a plan to regenerate and rejuvenate the area.
Cricketers from the Lancashire men’s first XI including Tom Bailey and Alex Davies took on the simulator. Notable women’s cricketers like Sophie Ecclestone and Ellie Threlkeld from the Women’s first XI also had a go. Most importantly, football legends Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville both played on the simulator and seemed to enjoy their time on it.
As always, BatFast reached out to multiple people from the event of all ages abilities and genders. We are delighted to bring the game of cricket closer to you. Above all, BatFast is privileged to have been invited to such an important event to the county and community who will benefit from such a wonderful project, thanks for having us.
