BatFast fan zones at Surrey CCC vs Somerset CCC

BatFast travelled down to the capital city of London to set up our world class cricket simulators at the fan zones for Surrey CCC at the iconic Kia Oval. With kids lining up and waiting for their turn for over 40 minutes at a time, we are glad to say that we were absolutely busy in a carnival of a day in London.

Match Details from Surrey CCC vs Somerset CCC, 09 July 2017

The hosts were sent in to bat first by Somerset after they won the toss on an overcast afternoon. Aussie opener Aaron Finch was in fine touch as he sped his way to 61 of just 41 balls. A quick fire 25 from Ollie Pope gave Surrey a good total of 181 to defend.

Somerset’s top order was sent straight back to the pavilion with two wickets each for Jade Dernbach and Tom Curran. Somerset recovered brilliantly to take the game to the last over thanks to Corey Anderson’s blistering 81 of just 45 balls, but the visitors fell short by 4 runs.
