GoFest Surrey 2016

Last weekend we travelled down from our home in Loughborough to Guildford, visiting Surrey sports park where the amazing GoFest took place. A two-day event where children, brothers, sisters, mums and dads all got to be involved in a family fun affair. Our BatFast Cricket Simulator was accompanied by over 40 different sports from Archery-tag to Volleyball.
Glorious sunshine blessed us and all of the participants over the jam-packed weekend. While England struggled in the final England Test of the summer, with Younis Khan’s batting masterclass scoring 218 runs contributing to the win for Pakistan. We also had a high achiever, Ian, representing the Dads, who smashed more than 50 runs in 6 overs.
New Players
At BatFast we welcome everyone into the cricketing community and we always say that anyone can play cricket. New comers involved our first players from Poland to play on the cricket simulator who quickly got the hang of it. I think I also saw a few future stars in the making as well, notably a young lad in a Joe Root shirt. A boy with great technique and a real flare, similar to his role model.
The Breakdown
After a fantastic weekend it was relaxing to listen to local artists on the main stage as we packed up. Gofest was an awesome experience, meeting Sporting Icons and most of all getting the opportunity to be involved in new sports.
Well done to all participants who handled the Speed and Swing of the Cricket Simulator. We hope you enjoy your videos and show your friends and family who couldn’t make the great weekend at Gofest.
Your videos are ready now, they are available to download so please have a look below and share them around. Use the search feature at the bottom of the video player to filter through your BatFast User ID which should have been sent to you via email.
