Colchester-based Cloudfm celebrated the naming rights sponsorship of Essex County Cricket Club’s county ground with a really well organized corporate cricket event. The full first team Essex Squad, including former England captain Alastair Cook, went along to the CloudFM headquarters in Colchester where they met with the staff – and pitted their skills against a cricket simulator. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by all and created a lot of buzz on twitter too. You can read more about the event at here
The County Championship Home season finally kicked off at Chester Le Street on 14th April and fortunately the weather held true to provide a good day of cricket. Unfortunately Durham were beaten by Nottinghamshire but how classy was Keaton Jennings in the second innings. On the final morning Keaton Jennings batted through the innings and completed his first century since he made 112 on his Test debut in Mumbai last December; he did so in a fashion which proved the wisdom of his eventual England selection and the folly of omitting him from the original party to tour India.

Despite the heavy rains on Saturday night, the groundsmen made sure everything was in place for Sunday's Spalding Town Cricket Club open day. The open day was held to raise funds for the club. The day began with the under 9's and 11's having a training session followed by simultaneous cricket matches being played on the massive ground. With parents coming in numbers to support their young stars as well as enjoy the plenty of activities such as the bouncing castles and our Batfast cricket simulator definitely made their day worth a while.
As our first year in partnership with Lashings All-Stars comes to an end it’s time for a debrief of the season. We’ve travelled all over the country taking the Cricket Simulator with us. From Weston-super-Mare at the start of the season, over to Brighton, and all the way up to Boston, to name just few of the great cricket clubs we have been too. But theres always been one thing in common. The Lashings All-stars go on unbeaten.
Last weekend we travelled down from our home in Loughborough to Guildford, visiting Surrey sports park where the amazing GoFest took place. A two-day event where children, brothers, sisters, mums and dads all got to be involved in a family fun affair. Our Batfast Cricket Simulator was accompanied by over 40 different sports from Archery-tag to Volleyball.
Its always great to have a family fun day filled with activities to keep everyone entertained. The Krishna Avanti School in London hosted this event in order to raise funds for the school and we were so happy to be a part of their great cause. Having worked with them in the past during the FOAH summer fair showed they really loved our product.
This was our first ever visit to The Game Fair and we were left star struck. Definitely one of the biggest venues we have held our cricket simulator. The game fair boasted a record breaking crowd of approximately 107,000 people as they witnessed shooting, fishing and engaged in loads of shopping which was complimented by great weather throughout the weekend.
