On Saturday, the 2nd of July, our cricket simulator we were part of a charity cricket match held by Lady Taverners and Centre Point at the Lord's Cricket ground (aka Home of Cricket). The All Star cricket match was being challenged for the Petterson trophy that was won by Centre Point the previous year.
Despite the heavy rains on Saturday night, the groundsmen made sure everything was in place for Sunday's Spalding Town Cricket Club open day. The open day was held to raise funds for the club. The day began with the under 9's and 11's having a training session followed by simultaneous cricket matches being played on the massive ground. With parents coming in numbers to support their young stars as well as enjoy the plenty of activities such as the bouncing castles and our Batfast cricket simulator definitely made their day worth a while.
As our first year in partnership with Lashings All-Stars comes to an end it’s time for a debrief of the season. We’ve travelled all over the country taking the Cricket Simulator with us. From Weston-super-Mare at the start of the season, over to Brighton, and all the way up to Boston, to name just few of the great cricket clubs we have been too. But theres always been one thing in common. The Lashings All-stars go on unbeaten.
Last weekend we travelled down from our home in Loughborough to Guildford, visiting Surrey sports park where the amazing GoFest took place. A two-day event where children, brothers, sisters, mums and dads all got to be involved in a family fun affair. Our Batfast Cricket Simulator was accompanied by over 40 different sports from Archery-tag to Volleyball.
Its always great to have a family fun day filled with activities to keep everyone entertained. The Krishna Avanti School in London hosted this event in order to raise funds for the school and we were so happy to be a part of their great cause. Having worked with them in the past during the FOAH summer fair showed they really loved our product.
This was our first ever visit to The Game Fair and we were left star struck. Definitely one of the biggest venues we have held our cricket simulator. The game fair boasted a record breaking crowd of approximately 107,000 people as they witnessed shooting, fishing and engaged in loads of shopping which was complimented by great weather throughout the weekend.
We're aiming to make our presence wherever possible. And this was a great opportunity for us test a different market altogether. This event was a 24 hour running marathon, that could be ran in teams or as individuals. It took place throughout the night with runners running through the woods in flood lights.
A festival like no other! We were so lucky to be a part of Bedford's biggest and best event. Bedford River Festival boasted a crowd of at least 300,000 people over the 2 days this year. More than 50,000 from the same event that happened two years ago. The great weather definitely complimented the fun activities that were on show for the festival.
